Gracie is my first horse, a special Christmas gift who has been with me through countless adventures. She’s a half Fell Pony and half Haflinger, with a spirited, sometimes "spicy" personality, but she knows how to do it all. Daisy was originally meant to be my mom’s trail horse, but after an accident that prevented her from riding, Daisy and I began training together. That unexpected turn allowed us to transition from trail riding to competing in barrel racing, poles, and cow events. After a year of hard work, Daisy has become a vital part of my rodeo journey, and I now use her for cow events, where she truly shines.
This year, I was fortunate to lease Jasper, a mini who helped me learn to drive a horse. Through our many lessons together, we became a team and competed in 4-H shows. Jasper introduced me to new opportunities, including driving bigger horses at the fair. I’m grateful for the experience and skills I gained, and for having Jasper by my side as I developed a love for driving.
